Arc is BlossomOS’s software store. Search for anything - it finds Flatpak apps, web services, Windows apps, and CLI tools all in one place.
What Arc Can Install
Flatpaks — Thousands of Linux desktop apps from Flathub. Sandboxed and updated independently of the system.
AppImages — Standalone app bundles. Arc downloads and integrates them into your launcher automatically.
Web Apps — Any website as a native desktop app with its own window, taskbar entry, and notifications. See Web Apps.
Windows Apps — Pre-configured Wine packages for popular Windows software. Search first; if it’s not there, Lutris covers the rest.
CLI tools — Install apt, yay, nix, or other package managers via pkglayer, or use Homebrew directly.
Local files — Drag a .rpm, .deb, or .AppImage into Arc and it handles integration automatically.
Using Arc
Open Arc from the application launcher. Search by name or browse by category. Click any app to see details, then Install.
Go to Updates to see available updates and apply them all at once. System updates (OS) are separate — see System Updates.
Go to Installed to see everything Arc manages, remove apps, or check versions.
